How we handle your personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

Who is the data controller?

Green Lake is the trading name under which Ernesto Torregrosa Viana (Spanish Tax ID / NIF 44897071J) provides tax and fiscal advisory services in Spain. You can contact us regarding the protection of your data at: greenlaketaxservices@gmail.com.

What data do we process, and for what purpose?

Browsing this website

Data: this website does not use analytics or third-party cookies, and does not track your browsing. Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) technically logs basic connection data (IP address, date and time) for security and service operation purposes.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in ensuring the security and correct operation of the website.

Retention: in accordance with Vercel Inc.'s technical log retention policy.

Contact form

Data: name, email address, enquiry topic and message.

How it's obtained: directly from you, when you fill in the contact form.

Legal basis: your consent when submitting the form, and pre-contractual measures taken at your request.

Retention: for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and, if no service relationship is established, for a maximum of 12 months.

Disclosure: the contact form is processed via Formspree, Inc. (USA), acting as data processor.

Provision of tax advisory services to clients

Data: identification data (name, tax ID), contact details, and the financial and tax data necessary for the engagement (including invoices and filed tax returns).

How it's obtained: directly from the client.

Legal basis: performance of the service agreement and compliance with legal obligations (tax and commercial).

Retention: for the duration of the service relationship and, after its termination, for the statutory limitation periods applicable to tax and commercial obligations.

Disclosure: to the Spanish Tax Agency and other public bodies when necessary for the engagement. Documentation is stored in a proprietary system with access restricted exclusively to Green Lake, hosted via Supabase Inc., which acts as data processor. Data is physically stored in a data centre located in the European Union (Ireland), so no international transfer of the hosted data takes place.

Where does your data come from?

All the data we process comes directly from you: by filling in the contact form, writing to us by email, or providing it to us as a client for the provision of our services.

What are your rights?

You can request the following by writing to greenlaketaxservices@gmail.com:

  • Access to your personal data.
  • Rectification of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure of your data.
  • Restriction of processing.
  • Objection to processing based on our legitimate interest.
  • Withdrawal of consent, where processing is based on it.
  • Portability of your data, where processing is based on your consent or on the performance of a contract.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if you consider that the processing does not comply with applicable regulations:

Security of your data

Client documentation is stored in a system with authenticated access, encryption in transit, and database-level access controls that ensure only Green Lake can access it.
